Synergies through open tools and policies

The Ubuntu community maintains an open bug-tracking system that allows anyone to search for, run a report on or add comments to problems or ideas that they have. Because the bug tracking system is tightly integrated with the development and translation tools under one website named Launchpad, it allows for unique synergies to be created between users and developers. For Ubuntu Server Edition this means that our product has nothing to hide and everyone is invited to kick our tires.

Following the same principle, Ubuntu has an open policy rule. Each of our processes are discussed on our open mailing lists and written on our wiki, so anyone can check what on how we do things, and even propose improvements. Here is a list of the most important ones:
